Hello all, my name is Serenity Headley and I am a third-year student at Florida State University. I am studying psychology, education, and french. I love creating videos and editing them, so I’m excited to learn more about using technology in a classroom setting. I also enjoy traveling and making new memories with people I love.
My prior experiences of using technology in an education setting usually revolve around using Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. In high school, I became certified in these programs, so I feel quite comfortable navigating them. In my college career, I’ve created presentations for group assignments using Google Slides. I have also used Groupme to stay connected with classmates.
My personal learning network has the context of creating content, college students, fitness, and self-improvement. I connect with individuals who are consistent in creating and sharing content on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. I connect with college students in my major with LinkedIn and NoleNetwork. TikTok also allows me to communicate with fellow fitness enthusiasts. I find most of my self-improvement community is on Instagram and TikTok as well.
Hey Dan, thank you so much for comment and question! I create lifestyle content which I'd describe as me documenting my life in the aspects of cooking (meal prep idea videos), fitness, self-improvement, and daily vlogs. Looking forward to reading your blog and learning more about you! :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your name! I just started posting vlogs since my best friend is back in pensacola. Isn't it such a fun kind of content to create? Phycology, education, and French seems like a heavy load but also a very interesting combination. :)
