My experiences in EME2040 have been very informational as it has given me a chance to be hands-on with online teaching tools and resources. My section is asynchronous, which allows me to create a schedule that works for me for weekly readings and completing tasks. I like that this classroom experience is a mix of independence and collaboration with fellow classmates. There is not anything I particularly dislike about my experience in the EME2040 class. When I am a teacher, to improve classroom experience I would utilize anonymous surveys to gauge my student's opinions on how the class is going so we can adapt to everyone’s preferences. Open educational resources are an amazing tool for educators to find resources that give specific permission to be used in all capacities. These resources can be edited, shared, and revised, which is a great feature for collaborating with fellow instructors.   The school website I selected is Britt David Elementary located in Columbus, Georgia. On this site, we can publicly access the school calendar, staff and faculty emails, the parent/student handbook, and more. This school website does not list links to class pages made by teachers, as they may be given privately to parents and students. This website is easy to navigate and organized well for all age ranges to utilize. https://brittdavid.wixsite.com/brittdavid I envision myself using technology to pass the information on to parents and students, such as upcoming assignments and events. Some specific productivity tools I would use are calendars and reminder systems. I would also input the class policies on the website so that parents and students can refer to them at any time. Finally, adding resources for supplemental help at home will be beneficial for students to complete homework assignments. Wiki platforms allow for full creative control with many customization features.  ...
